Definition of Brothers

Having brothers is like being born with your own personal superheros.

Growing up knowing you'll have a piece of each of them mixed into your personality.

Knowing that every mistake you made would be a life lesson taught by them.

Being made your favorite food when mom and dad aren't home.

Being your worst enemy, but your best ally at the same time.

Knowing that you will always have somebody to lean on.

Having someone to argue with about absolutely nothing, and them letting you win.

Teaching you to eat the stars first, then the marshmallows.

Having someone to play fight with.

Not getting yelled at for hitting the mustang.

Keeping secrets from mom and dad.

Sleeping in one room together, just because we could.

Watching ghost hunters together, even though it scared the hell out of me.

Making fun of the shows I watch, but sitting down with me to watch the whole episode.

Making fun of Jeff.

Being able to piss each other off like no body's business, but being completely fine 5 minutes later.

Having 'wrestling' matches, gold belt and all.

Watching them try to beat grand theft auto, and making fun of them for failing.

Playing electronic monopoly, in a car, on the highway.

Constantly playing rock/alternative music on the way to school, and not minding one bit.

Going to the complex and getting nibs every time we were done swimming.

Spending hours talking about how good LeBron James is.

Going to get jelly filled donuts at Tim Horton's whenever we visited memere.

Going to the little corner store in Canada to get our favorite candy.

Being given various nicknames.

Getting Redskins shirts for Christmas, even though 'they suck'.

"To the outside world, we all grow old. But not to brothers and sisters. We know each other as we always were. We know each other's hearts. We share private family jokes. We remember family feuds and secrets, family griefs and joys. We live outside the touch of time."
